A Quiet Day

Today Adam had his ventilator tube switched for a smaller one, in hopes that it will help the irritation and swelling in his trachea. He was on a low dose of sedation, so he woke up on and off through the day. He played a little with books, toys, and bandaids. We very much enjoyed every movement! We found a washing machine in the hospital and did a little laundry. . . rested up. Tomorrow the doctors will try extubating again.
