Our Alison Rose was baptized on June 27, 2009. It was a beautiful day. Grandma and Grandpa Porter, Aunt Cheryl and her family, Grandma Bates, Becca, and Aunt Rachel attended the baptism. She was baptized and confirmed by her father, George. Grandma Bates gave a talk on baptism and Mom gave a talk on the gift of the Holy Ghost. We had a lunch afterwards, but our visiting was cut short due to a helicopter landing in the parking lot for the hospital next door. (I know, that sounds really strange). It's hard to believe that my Alison is eight years old already. She is a wonderful girl! She is always anxious to help, and is looking forward to going to acheivement days and working on her Faith in God this year. We're so proud of her for making the choice to be baptized.
